Naomi Samara was born and raised in Bali. She is a multidisciplinary artist but she focuses primarily on paintings. With a career shaped between Bali and Melbourne, she has developed a very personal approach to creation, relying on intuition and a sense of the environment with conscious and genuine empowerment, empathy, curiosity, and openness, at the moment of creation.

She enjoys reading, writing, and being present with the people she loves and cares for, and her goal is to always keep producing and creating. If she could, she would like to take in and sustain knowledge and skill-sets in seconds, surrounding herself with creative minds. Naomi chose Emiria Soenasa, Louise Bourgeois, and Virginia Woolf as her dreamed flatmates.
 
Besides working on the intervention of the mirrors at UNI, she also focuses on the creation of jewelry and her own set of oracle cards.
