Salvita was born and raised in Bali, and she considers herself Indonesian, but also German and Indian, like her parents. In the same way she is diverse in her art, experimenting within painting styles, and extending to jewellry design, acting or even balinese performative arts.

 

Reintroducing herself slowly to bigger canvases has been in her latest stage of the creative process, understanding the time and iteration required to create: "I do what i love. I fail but get back up. Sometimes its harder than other times . I am strong but I'm also ok with showing my weakness if I need to".

This time she created three of the illustrations shown on the tables of Chicas Chidas at Uni.
